NATURAL STONE:
Quartzite, Granite, Hard Marble & Dolomite

Hard and durable stones. They are mentioned by hardness above with Hard Marble & Dolomite being equal.

Countertops, fireplaces, full back splashes, showers & tub surrounds.

Natural stone should be sealed on a regular basis to keep from staining. Every 1 to 10 years depends on the sealer used.

Clean with a mild vinegar and water mix or a nonabrasive NO dye cleaner.
QUARTZ

Manufactured stone product

Mostly comes in 3cm but may sometimes be found in 2cm or even 12mm

.02 percent harder than granite.

Countertops, fireplaces, full back splashes, showers & tub surrounds.

Clean with a nonabrasive NO dye cleaner.

Sealing is not necessary.
MARBLE & SOAPSTONE

A softer yet beautiful natural stone that needs extra care. You must gently place heavy pans and such.

You must be careful with citrus products as these stones are prone to etching.

Countertops, fireplaces, full back splashes, showers & tub surrounds.

Natural stone should be sealed on a regular basis to keep from staining. Every 1 to 2 years on these softer stones.

Clean with a mild vinegar and water mix or a nonabrasive NO dye cleaner.
PORCELAIN & DEKTON

Both are extremely strong and easy to clean!

Both are scratch and stain resistant.

Unfortunately neither is a full body product, meaning that polished edges are “raw” and do not have the same pattern as the top.

Once installed both are strong enough to drive a car on!

Mitered edges are strongly suggested thus keeping away from having a “raw” edge everywhere except the sink.

Sinks can be made from either product!
